Renaissance Festival

Finally was able to get caught up and scan my drawings in.
So far behind....
These were from the Ohio Renaissance Festival this year.
This is just around half of the drawings I did. The others were in another sketchbook that I did not bring to scan. Those will be up shortly.

Exercise 07: Vampires

Rough draft post for my homework for Cafe Sketch.
I know it's digital but my access to a scanner had been limited and I need to get something out there.
His name is Évêque du Cœrsai. He originates from Bucharest and is a complete derp-de-herp, nerdy vampire.
Oh. Yeah.

Initial sketch and refined sketch.

Turnaround of final design.

Day 09_Rock Climbing and Silly Walks

10.02.2013
The post I had promised yesterday. WAH-LA.
During class, we first went to a park in Columbus that had a rock climbing wall and drew some of the climbers. However, to our dismay, it was going to close in an hour so we had to hurry.

Being at the park for only an hour, we headed back to class to draw from videos. The video we drew from was my very favorite: Ministry of Silly Walks.
I love Monty Python and about all of their skits. Haven't seen them?
SEE THEM. NOA. GO!

See ya next week. c:

Day 08_The Live Model

09.30.2013
This class, we had a live nude model.
While drawing him, I noticed that a set of drawing I did look liked keys of an animation.
To my surprise, my teacher had actually told him to do just that.
I'm happy that I actually was able to capture the shift of weight in the model from similar pose to similar pose.

Day 07_Stalking Easton

09.25.2013
This time, we took a 'field trip' to the Easton Mall to draw from life.
Besides getting in my 50 drawings that are mandatory for each drawing session for class, me and my friends wandered about and saw the sites.
We stopped in Gamestop for Palkia and pokeballs.
And then to Cinnabon because it is SO GOOD.
(also my first time having it so, wooo.)
